Glimmer Shop~~~American Aborvitae Seedlings
American Arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis L.) transplants, 12-20" tall for .99 cents each. These resinous and aromatic evergreens, also known as Northern White Cedar, grow to a pyramidal height of up to 40'. The lacy foliage is yellow-green above, paler blue-green beneath. The bark is a light red-brown, shreddy, and fissured into narrow ridges. Grows in ordinary soil, and also adapts to swampy areas and alkaline soil. Arborvitae are well suited for windbreaks, are fast-growing, and do well in full sun or part shade. Hardy for Zones 2-7. Nursery grown: Pennsylvania license No. 319. Planting instructions are included with all orders.
