Glimmer Shop~~~Box Elder Maple Seedlings 5-10" Box Elder (Acer negundo) tree seedlings are available now for spring planting. Although a member of the Maple family, Box Elder forms compound leaves with 3-9 leaflets on a stem. The leaves are a bright olive green, turning red in the fall. It enjoys swampy ground, and is intolerant of drought. Does well in most soils, and thrives in full sun or part shade. Grows to 45', with a 40' spread. Hardy for Zones 3-7.
