Crab Apple blooms in the early spring with a profusion of fragrant white flowers. Prune the main trunk to maintain tree shape and encourage blooms. Attractive dull green foliage turns bronze in autumn. The fruit is yellow-green. Make crab apple jelly, or leave the crab apples for your woodland friends.
