Glimmer Shop~~~Lincoln Douglas Fir Seedlings Douglas Fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii) seedlings. Fir are imposing forest trees. Their soft, fernlike branches are bright green and very fragrant. The bark is gray, and they reach heights of around 50'. Like any tall evergreen they are handsome in the right spot, where their size and form are in scale with their surroundings. Hardy for Zones 4-6, and resistant to heat, drought, and city conditions. Commonly planted as an ornamental, they are also a wonderful choice for shapely, long-lasting, fragrant Christmas trees.
